Tuna Bitoque with Sweet Fries

A snack that is present in all typical Algarve restaurants, made with tuna caught off the coast, there is no tastier dish!

Ingredients

  • 4 tuna steaks
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 dl of White Wine
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • Chopped parsley
  • salt
  • Sweet Potato Chips

Preparation Method

  1. Season the tuna steaks with salt. Fry them in oil, remove the fat and set aside.
  2. Crush the garlic cloves and brown them in the oil used.
  3. Add the bay leaf, refresh with the wine, let it reduce and season with salt.
  4. Remove from heat, add the butter and stir until dissolved.
  5. Serve the fish with the sauce and sweet potato chips. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
