Sliced apple with sweet and sour sauce and ice cream
Warm sliced apple with sweet and sour sauce and vanilla ice cream. A delicious dessert.
Ingredients

250g fuji or pink lady apples
-
4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
-
75g honey
-
Mint
Preparation Method
- To make the balsamic vinegar reduction, pour the vinegar into a small pan with the honey, stirring until diluted. Bring to a boil over moderate heat to reduce the volume and thicken. Set aside.
- Heat the sugar, and when it starts to brown add the cider vinegar.
- Slice the apple into thin slices, place it in the caramel and pile it on top, like a volcano.
- On top serve a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a dash of honey and a reduction of balsamic vinegar.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint.
