Azores Style Fried Codfish

Codfish fried in olive oil drizzled with a typical Azorean sauce made with local pepper.

Ingredients

  • 4 codfish fillets
  • 8 potatoes
  • 2 dl of Olive oil
For the sauce:

Preparation Method

  1. Boil the cod (optional) and fry it in olive oil;
  2. Sauté the chopped garlic and pepper, with the olive oil and tomato paste in a frying pan;
  3. Before cooling, add the vinegar. Before cooling, add the vinegar. Cover the cod with this sauce and accompany it with potatoes.
