Dark chocolate brownie

The dark chocolate brownie is ideal to accompany coffee or tea for weekend snacks. A family favorite, one piece at a time.

Ingredients

Preparation Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease a square baking pan, 20cm in diameter, with half a tablespoon of butter. Line the bottom with baking paper. Put aside.
  3. Place the chocolate and the remaining butter in a bowl and microwave to melt gradually, stirring between each stop.
  4. Mix together in another bowl the brown sugar, vanilla, cornstarch, and one egg. Add the cream cheese and stir in. Set aside.
  5. Separately, beat the remaining eggs, and add the melted chocolate mixture, brown sugar, and flour.
  6. Pour half of this mixture into the mold, then place spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top.
  7. Pour the remaining chocolate mixture on top and using a toothpick, make zigzags to mix the two doughs.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately place the chocolate almonds on top.
  10. Leave to rest for 15 minutes in the mold, remove to a wire rack, allow to cool, and cut into 12 squares.
