Ramen Noodles originate from China and are called “Lo-Mein” in Chinese, which means boiled noodles.
“Ra-men” is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese characters for Lo-Mein. Japan has adopted Ramen as a typical dish and it is very popular, especially among young people.
Ramen are white noodles with al dente texture, suitable for dishes such as soups, accompanied by hot broth and with various toppings, such as pork, seaweed, kamaboko and chives.
