As their name suggests, summer truffles are harvested earlier than burgundy truffles, from May to August. They are most often found in the southern part of the distribution area of the species, notably in the Mediterranean climate areas of France, Italy and Spain.
Ingredients:
Olive oil, italian summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt.)37,5%, salt, flavour.
Storage:
Keep in a cool and dry place. Refrigerate after opening (+4°C) and use within 4 days.
Preparation Suggestion:
Use them to enrich your special recipes. They are also excellent to decor sophisticated dishes.
