Araçal is a small, round fruit with seeds. The characteristic flavour is similar to guava, but more acidic and with a stronger aroma.

6 eggs

150 g flour
Preparation Method
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until they triple in volume, more or less for 10 minutes;
- Add the flour and stir gently;
- Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper;
- Bake in the oven, preheated to 180ºC, for 15 minutes;
- When ready, remove from oven and turn out onto a clean kitchen cloth. Remove the greaseproof paper, spread the sugarcane jam, and roll up the pie with the cloth.
