Black linguine with sardines

Enjoy the sardine, one of the most popular and famous Portuguese fish. Here it is ready to eat, without skin or bones and in the company of a delicious black linguine.

Preparation Method

  1. In a pan with olive oil, sauté the chopped onion and the slices of leek.
  2. Cut the peeled carrots into small cubes and add them to the stew.
  3. Cover and leave to sweat over low heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour in the wine and cook until the carrots are tender.
  5. In a saucepan, cook the linguine in water seasoned with salt until al dente.
  6. Once the carrot is tender, add the diced tomato and boil for 5 minutes.
  7. Add the drained linguine and a handful of chopped parsley and mix well.
  8. Arrange in the serving bowl and garnish with well-drained sardines, cleaned of skin and bones. Serve immediately.
