A charming and delicious aperitif: melted brie cheese in a puff pastry crust with sliced almonds and honey. Simple, easy to make, and full of textures and flavors.
Ingredients
-
1 piece of brie cheese
-
100 g puff pastry
-
30 g sliced almonds
-
2 g of rosemary
-
1 one of butter
Preparation Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Open the puff pastry without removing the plastic from below, unrolling it.
- Place the brie cheese on one end of the dough and, on top of it, place the sliced almond and rosemary, according to your taste.
- On top of the cheese (with the almonds and rosemary) carefully place the honey, using a small spoon, also according to your taste.
- Close the dough and press it with your hands close to the cheese. Cut the excess dough, close to the cheese, leaving a small border.
- With the rest of the dough make a decoration in the shape of a heart or according to your creativity.
- Place the butter in a small bowl and melt in the microwave for about 20 seconds or until melted. Using a pastry brush (or the back of a spoon), brush the melted butter over the puff pastry.
- Then, transfer it to a medium roast and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden.
- Remove from the oven and, if you prefer, place on a wooden board or a plate of your choice. Serve hot and enjoy!
