Yakitori, grilled chicken, is a Japanese type of chicken on a stick.
Ingredients

1 kg chicken breast

1 onion

2 peppers
-
1 leek

1 dash of oil (optional)
Preparation Method
- First cut the chicken breasts into cubes of about the same size. Place the chicken in a bowl and season with salt, pepper and yakitori sauce. Leave for at least 30 minutes to pick up the flavour.
- Meanwhile prepare the vegetables: cut the onion and leek into 4 parts and separate the layers, cut the peppers into pieces about the size of the chicken pieces and cut the tomatoes into halves.
- After the chicken marinates, assemble the chicken skewers with vegetables: on each skewer place a piece of chicken, followed by a piece of vegetables (onion, leek, pepper or tomato), and repeat until the whole skewer is complete.
- Grill the chicken skewers with vegetables on a greased grill with a drizzle of oil, or grill directly on the BBQ, for 15 to 20 minutes. Turn occasionally, to grill evenly, while brushing the remaining sauce from the bowl on the skewers.
- After roasting the Japanese chicken skewers, remove to a plate and serve immediately.
