Homemade Popcorn with Honey and Olive Oil

Almost everyone likes popcorn. It’s that childhood treat that stays in adulthood! Our healthy popcorn is perfect to accompany a good movie or series, curled up on the sofa blanket!

Besides, it can be a great snack to take in your suitcase and satisfy that hunger after hours.

Preparation Method

  1. Start by placing the corn in the bottom of a pan, without overlapping.
  2. Drizzle with the oil and bring to a simmer, with the pan covered.
  3. When the corn starts to pop, shake the pan, always covered, so that the corn cooks.
  4. Turn off the heat and leave covered, until you no longer hear the corn popping.
  5. Heat the honey, along with the olive oil, in the microwave for 30 seconds, and pour it into a large bowl.
  6. Add the popcorn to the previous preparation and mix well.

Chef’s Tips
If you prefer a salty alternative, season the popcorn with olive oil and freshly ground black pepper.
