Olive rice
A different kind of rice to accompany your favourite dish.
Ingredients

2 cups of rice

1 chopped onion
-
2 chopped garlic cloves
-
Sliced olives
-
1 handful coarse salt
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
2 tbsp thyme
-
olive oil to taste
Preparation Method
- Start by chopping the onion and garlic separately. Then slice the olives. Pour a drizzle of olive oil into a pan and let it heat up a little.
- Add the chopped onion and cook for 3 minutes or until translucent.
- Add the chopped garlic, stir and cook for a further 1 minute. Sprinkle with paprika to taste and mix well.
- Then gradually add the rice and mix in.
- Add the sliced olives and mix well again.
- Add half the thyme and mix.
- Add 4 glasses of water and season with salt to taste. Leave to simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Finally, before removing the pan from the heat, add the rest of the thyme and mix in. Serve immediately and enjoy your meal.
