Rice with Turmeric and Sardines

A quick and easy suggestion, but with all the flavor of a recipe made by you. Turmeric gives it its unmistakable color.

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion until golden.
  2. Add the turmeric, stir and add the rice. Mix well and cook the rice over low heat until translucent.
  3. Add the wine and stir until it evaporates.
  4. Add a little water and salt, mix and cook for a few more minutes. When it evaporates, water with more water.
  5. Repeat the operation until the water runs out and the rice is cooked, stirring occasionally.
  6. Wash the lemon, cut it into cubes and wrap them with rice about 3 minutes before the rice is finished cooking.
  7. Add the sardine fillets, sprinkle with thin slices of chili and serve immediately.
