Seitan and Gherkins Sandwiches
A delicious and easy way to prepare seitan. This vegetable protein is a great alternative to traditional recipes!
Ingredients

250 g of seitan
-
0.5 dl Olive oil
-
2 cloves of Garlic
-
1 bay leaf
-
0,5 dl white wine
-
4 loaves of bread
-
Mustard to taste
-
Lettuce to taste
Preparation Method
- Cut the seitan into strips and fry them in a frying pan with olive oil, crushed garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
- Turn to brown on both sides and drizzle with the white wine; bring to a boil and remove from the heat.
- Cut the gherkins into strips.
- Prepare the sandwiches; spread one side of each ball with a little mustard and place on top, the lettuce leaves, the gherkin strips, and the fried seitan.
- Cover with the other half and serve immediately.
