Ingredients

100 g grated mozzarella cheese

80 g sliced black olives

1 large tin of peeled tomatoes

1 onion

3 cloves garlic

5 tablespoons olive oil

Chopped parsley to taste
Preparation Method
- Peel the onion and garlic cloves, roughly chop everything, pour into a saucepan, add the olive oil, bring to a boil and cook until the onion is soft. Add the peeled tomatoes with the sauce, mix, season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes. Then remove from the heat and reduce to a puree.
- Drain the sardines. Cook the spaghetti in salted water for 9 minutes, then drain it, pour it back into the pan, add a little of the tomato sauce and mix.
- Pour half the spaghetti into a dish, spread the sardines and half the olive slices on top. Cover with the rest of the spaghetti, drizzle with the remaining tomato sauce, add the rest of the olives, sprinkle with the grated mozzarella cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. Remove and serve hot and sprinkled with chopped parsley. If using, heat thoroughly in the microwave.
