Stew Meat
Stewed meat cooks slowly over a layer of vegetables, becoming very juicy and tender. Serve the stewed meat with plain rice and salad.
Ingredients

6 tablespoons of olive oil

1 kg of meat for stewing
-
1 onion
-
2 garlic cloves
-
2 pcs. of carrot
-
1 tomato
-
1 bay leaf
-
240 ml of beef broth
Preparation Method
- Place 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over high heat.
- Add the meat to the stew and season with salt and pepper.
- Sear the meat stirring occasionally.
- Remove the meat from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pot and without washing, put 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Chop the onion and garlic and add, let it brown slightly.
- Cut the carrots into julienne strips and the tomato into cubes. Add to the mixture, carefully wrapping.
- Add reserved meat, bay leaf, and beef broth.
- Cover and let cook slowly for 30 to 40 minutes.
