Toasted mushrooms and duck mousse

Besides being surprising and with a very pleasant mixture of flavours, these mushroom toasts and duck mousse look good on any table.

Ingredients

  • 250 g paris mushrooms
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 50 ml of Olive oil
  • 1/4 red pepper
  • 50 ml of White wine
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 8 slices of cheese
  • salt
  • Butter
  • fresh oregano

Preparation Method

  1. Arrange the mushrooms and slice them. Chop a clove of garlic, cut an onion into half-moons and sauté both in olive oil. Add the chopped pepper and the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Then, add the white wine and let it sauté.
  2. Spread four slices of bread with duck mousse and distribute the mushroom sauté over them.
  3. Arrange two slices of cheese on top of each and cover the slices of bread with butter.
  4. Place in the toaster until toasted. Remove, trim the toasts from the side and serve sprinkled with fresh oregano.
